Overview - Helm and Cockpit

This is the row of lockers that make up the aft seating of the cockpit. Starting on the port side, are two 20lb propane tanks. One is in use, and the other an unconnected spare. There is a wood base with the appropriately sized cutout to hold the tanks. The middle locker is the main engine access. There is easy access to the starboard (maintenance) side of the engine in a picture under the Engine and Drive Overview. In the foreground is a mostly empty locker. It contains the hydraulic pump for lifting the Sonic drive leg (see Engine and Drive Overview).
This is a picture of the helm. The engine control is the black lever to port of the steering wheel. Up for forward, down for reverse. The panel on the port side is the engine guages and starting. In the center is the depth log (big sqare display) and two round fuel guages, one for each tank. The next display to the right is the wind and the next is the autopilot (note black ring on wheel). It is Autohelm ST4000+. Bullhead mounted compass on the starboard-most side.
