Overview - Dinette

This is a picture looking into the main bulhead door from the cockpit. The table seats 6 to 8 people resonably well. The table has two leaves that fold out (they are folded in here). The two ports in the forward bulkhead look into the master stateroom. There are sliding black lexan doors to cover them.

You can see the two sets of chainplates strapped to the bulkhead. These come from the upper and lower shrouds. There is a flourescent light over the dinette, and one each over the galley (starboard - in picture) and one over the nav area (not seen here). I think I will be changing that one over the dinette! You can see one of the easy access panels that the dinette light is attached to.

Stepping inside from the cockpit, on the port side, is a seat containing the reverse cycle heating and airconditioning unit (110V only). Another example of simplicity, no ducts running everywhere, no extra fans, the whole thing is self contained in that one box! O.K., maybe its not the most efficient environmental control for distibuting the air, but it sure is simple! There is a Hunter thermostat on the bulkead (the white box). The black panel is the electrical stuff. It includes the VHF (whose coiled cord won't reach the helm), AC breaker panel, DC breaker panel, Xintex propane alarm, and cigarette lighter plug. There rear of this panel leaves much to be desired - this is my one biggest gripe!
