Here
is a look inside the seat that contains the heat and A/C unit.
It is made my Mermaid and is 16,000 BTU. The intake is at the
lower edge of the picture and the only outlet is at the right
edge of the picture. Compressor, coils, and relay are all in here.
Raw water intake, screen, and pump are all under the port aft
bunk.
Here's
a look underneath the aft port bunk. In here is a 30 gallon freshwater
tank. In the foreground is the 6gal. water heater (engine and
110V). Also underneath here is the raw water intake, filter, and
pump for the A/C unit. The freshwater pump is in here also (the
black thing strapped to the side of the tank support).
This
is what is uner the starboard berth. You can see one of the two
30 gal. freshwater tanks (with the pink-stuff inside). Inboard
of the tank is the raw water intake for the engine and its associated
strainer.
Here
is a look at the battery compartment. My boat came with two
batteries of 110Ah each. You
could fit one and maybe two more batteries in here, but the
additional ones would have to go up under the compartment to
the right in this picture. It would be hard to check or service
those. A 30A dual bank charger and "1"-"2"-"BOTH"-"DESTROY
ALTERNATOR" switch are also shown here. Again,
the wiring inside here is less than ideal.
Here is another look at where
the batteries are located with the teak cover on. Above the charger
here is an opening nav desk.
