I This picture is actually from Rob Hoffman's SUNDOG, but I copied the idea on DOUBLEWIDE.

The turning block helps TREMENDOUSLY when trying to roll up the genny in moderate winds. Instead of pulling aft with your back, you can actually stand up and pull UP on the furling line - - much easier!

In a pinch, the line can also be led forward to the starboard winch for additional assistance.
